Covid Guidelines:
Updated October 2. 2022
Note on Guidelines:
Our guidelines are taken from the Government of Nova Scotia and the Department of Health and Wellness. As a church we will continue to follow these and, at times, may have chosen more stringent guidelines. We will keep you up-to-date as the guidelines change.
Public Health Recommendations for Gatherings (as of March 21, 2022)
To protect yourself and others, Public Health recommends that you wear a mask if you're in a crowded, indoor place or feel sick.
Don’t host or participate in activities if you feel sick, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or are self-isolating.
Masks are suggested in public places (indoor and outdoor), even if it’s not required.
Keep your close social contacts consistent, as much as possible.
Make informed choices about who you interact with and how to interact with each other (consider age, occupation, and health conditions).
Don’t share food or beverages.
See https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/avoiding-infection/for more details.
Gathering Limits
Gathering limits are back to 100 percent of capacity for regular faith services, weddings, funerals and visitation, meetings, and training that are hosted by a recognized business or organization, including faith organizations. There may be capacity limits based our facilities and the event planned.
Sunday morning church service:
We can host 100 percent of our building capacity.
Masks are strongly recommended.
If you have any COVID-19 or cold symptoms, please watch the service online.
SonGarden Kids and Nursery:
Masks are required for everyone over 4 years of age.
Hand hygiene is a must.
Gathering space for SonGarden Kids will be enlarged to enhance social distancing.
Meetings and Other Gatherings in the Church
For meetings, weddings, and other events masks and social distancing are strongly recommended. As Life Branch Church operates as a workplace for its staff, these requirements are in place for the safety of those who work and volunteer at the church.
For all other activities in the building, our Workplace COVID-19 Prevention Plan is still in place. This means that masking and distancing are strongly recommended.
Banquets or events involving food, masks are strongly recommended when not seated, tables must maintain social distancing, and food must be served to seated participants (no buffet style events).
Please contact the church office at contact@lifebranch.ca if you have questions.
