Ben MacDonald will be teaching an Inquiry Course on the WHY Statement. What happens at an inquiry course? I'm glad you asked. Here's Ben to explain a little bit about what the course will entail.
"The inquiry course will take place over the course of four weeks, exploring the WHY statement of Life Branch Church from a theological perspective. Each week, we will take a theme from the WHY statement and explore its meaning through the history of the faith. What did it mean to the first Christians to live "differently together"? What does it look like for the Church to "work through doubt" and still define and live by its doctrine? Life Branch is committed to "growing as we serve," but what did that look like in the history of the Christian religion? How has the Church's growth impacted the world we live in today? The Church today continuously seeks to be relevant to its surrounding culture, but how do Christians do this faithfully and with integrity?
Throughout the course, we will explore these questions by defining what it means to be "the Church," and we will look at some of the great theological minds and events in our history that radically shaped where we are today. All participants are free to ask questions and our discussion may change based on the overall mood and inquiries of the students."
