Blue Christmas: A service of healing and hope

For many who have lost a loved one, this season can be quite painful. For others it is a lonely time of year. While the Christmas season tells the story of Good News, it is not always a joyous season for everyone.

All are invited to this service; those who may be dealing with these moments of pain and loneliness, and those who are willing to walk with and support others.  It is a service where we can, with others, acknowledge the “blue” feelings that many have at Christmas time.  In this service we will sing songs appropriate to the season. We will reflect on our pain through scripture.  We will share testimonials about our loved ones & our losses. And we will pray for hope and comfort.
